Disney's Magical Express is a complimentary service offering hassle-free transportation to and from the Orlando International Airport for Clients staying at a Walt Disney World® Resort hotel. Disney's Magical Express also will claim properly tagged luggage at the airport and deliver it to your Client's Walt Disney World Resort hotel room.
As a part of the normal course of business, Disney's Magical Express regularly evaluates its offerings and makes appropriate adjustments as needed. As a result, Disney's Magical Express has announced a series of operational changes.
Disney's Magical Express now will mail the Airport Transportation Booklet and luggage tags only to Guests located in the United States and Canada. This change better aligns the policy with that of other Disney business units that mail information to Guests outside the United States.
In addition, Disney's Magical Express now will mail one luggage tag per person to Guests in the United States and Canada who are using the service. This is in response to the changes in domestic airline travel causing people to fly with fewer pieces of luggage. Guests in the United States and Canada who need additional luggage tags may contact Disney's Magical Express by calling 866-599-0951.
Guests located in countries other than the United States and Canada will no longer receive the Airport Transportation Booklet and luggage tags in the mail. However, these Guests still will be able to utilize the full extent of the Disney's Magical Express service, including the resort luggage delivery. These Guests may either collect their luggage at baggage claim and it will travel with them on the motorcoach, or they may request that Disney's Magical Express collect their luggage at the airport and deliver it to their resort hotel room.
Guests should be aware that it may take up to four hours for luggage to be delivered to the resort room. As such, effective March 30, 2009, Disney's Magical Express will no longer offer luggage delivery service to the Walt Disney World Resort for arrivals to the Orlando International Airport after 10 p.m. Luggage delivery service will be provided for Disney's Magical Express and Disney Cruise Line® Guests traveling to a Walt Disney World Resort hotel who arrive on flights between 5 a.m. and 10 p.m.
Guests arriving at the airport after 10 p.m. should be advised to claim their luggage at the baggage claim and take it with them to the Disney's Magical Express motor coach to their resort. Disney's Magical Express Guests in the United States and Canada will be notified of these changes through their Airport Transportation Information Booklet. Guests from other countries should inquire with Disney's Magical Express Cast Members at Orlando International Airport for assistance.
The Disney's Magical Express Welcome Center at the Orlando International Airport is located on the airport's "B" Side, Level 1. Disney's Magical Express Cast Members are available through much of the day on Level 2 at baggage claim to assist with directions. In addition, the Orlando International Airport has several paging telephones available from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. that Guests may use to ask the airport operator for assistance. Guests also may call Disney's Magical Express at 866-599-0951.
