About Us:
For close to three decades, The Yellow Bird Hotel has been a favourite of the traveller seeking a sun-soaked break from the ordinary. Located on the vibrant South Coast of Barbados, the 3-star boutique hotel affords guests easy access to a wide array of exciting nightlife, and hours of wistful beach-combing, all within a few steps of your room. The most challenging decision you'll have to make is whether to go exploring in the day or in the night - life is indeed not fair!

On evenings, a brief leisurely stroll along the cobblestone street will find you exploring the finest world-class eateries, friendly laid-back pubs, and pulsating trendy nightclubs - as the night retreats and the sun-kissed warmth of a new Caribbean day unfolds, you can virtually step off of our front steps and onto any of the nearby white sand beaches that our island is famous for. Location/ The Gap:
Ask any local, or anyone who has ever been to the beautiful island of Barbados, and they will certainly tell you that to experience St. Lawrence Gap is to feel the very pulse of the island, and most definitely its people and culture! St. Lawrence Gap, better known as "The Gap", is approximately 1.5 kilometres long, and is home to an eclectic collection of fine restaurants, casual eateries, and lively bars in the midst of it all, you'll find several street-side "chefs" grilling up anything from burgers to local favourites such as grilled fish, macaroni pie and other mouth-watering treats to tantalize your taste buds! Take your pick, from Chinese to Italian, Irish to Mediterranean, Caribbean to Mexican and everything in between.

St. Lawrence Gap is also host to other useful amenities such as banking facilities and a convenience store, all within less than 5 minutes walk from the hotel. There's even a church nestled in the heart of the Gap, should you seek quiet reflection while on your holiday.

However, the real attraction of the Gap is its selection of nightclubs. From salsa to reggae, techno to R&B, you can find a club or trendy lounge that will cater to your tastes on any night of the week!
