Welcome to Germany. After check-in, our Tour Director takes us on an afternoon orientation tour, which explores the financial center and medieval Romerplatz. Later we enjoy a Welcome Drink.

First to St. Goar where we take a scenic Rhine cruise past medieval cafestles and terrraced vineyards to Boppard and continue to Cologne where we see the gothic cathedral. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)

Today's drive takes us via Lower Saxony to Hamburg where an orientation tour shows us the major points of interest. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)

We drive to historic Berlin - once a divided city, now enjoying new freedom and excitement since the infamous Wall came down in 1989. (Buffet breakfast)

We will see the Brandenburg Gate, Unter den Linden Boulevard, the modern Reichstag Building, German State Opera House, Tiergarten and the shopping and entertainment district of Kurfurstendamm. (Buffet breakfast) | | Day 7 | Wurzburg | Berlin - Bayreuth - Wurzburg :
Today takes us past Potsdam and across the River Elbe. We continue past Leipzig into western Germany and on to the town of Bayreuth, home of the Wagner Festival. Later, in Wurzburg, our Tour Director shows us the Marienburg Fortress, the Prince-Bishops' Residence and a Hidden Treasure! (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)

After our orientation of Munich we continue to the beautiful region of Oberammergau, where we enjoy dinner in our hotel. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner) | | Day 9 | Passion Play performance | Passion Play performance :
After breakfast, there is time at leisure followed by lunch at a local restaurant. The Passion Play begins at 2.30pm and runs until 5pm when there is a dinner break. The play resumes at 8pm and finishes at 10.30pm when you are transferred back to your hotel accommodation. (Buffet breakfast / Lunch / Dinner) | | Day 10 | Vienna | Oberammergau - Salzburg - Vienna (2 nights) :
After breakfast we rejoin our Trafalgar coach and continue to Salzburg and resume our regular itinerary. (Buffet breakfast)

Highlights are revealed on our sightseeing tour including the Opera, the Hofburg and St. Stephen's Cathedral, plus a walking tour into the oldest and most secret part of old Vienna. (Buffet breakfast) | | Day 12 | Innsbruck | Vienna - Innsbruck :
We enjoy a scenic drive to Innsbruck where our Tour Director shows us the Golden Roof, the Hofburg Palace and another Hidden Treasure! Later we enjoy a Highlight Dinner. (Buffet breakfast / Highlight dinner)

Today we head into Germany to view Neuschwanstein - Mad King Ludwig's fairytale cafestle. Later, we skirt around Lake Constance and drive into the Black Forest. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)
Hotel: Hofgut Sternen | | Day 14 | Frankfurt | Black Forest - Heidelberg - Frankfurt (Offenbach) :
Our first stop today is at Heidelberg and includes a walking tour in the courtyards of the cafestle, which dominates the university city of "Student Prince" fame. From here we drive through the Rhineland on our return to Frankfurt. This evening join your Tour Director for a Farewell Dinner. (Buffet breakfast / Farewell dinner)
